Welcome to My World of Transformation

Welcome to my online sanctuary! I'm Anke Van Mullem, and I am honored to be your guide on a journey of self-discovery, intimacy, and holistic health. With years of experience and a passion for helping individuals and couples, I've developed a unique approach that combines mindfulness, somatic techniques, and effective communication to foster deeper intimacy within yourself and your relationships.

My Journey Toward Becoming a Coach

I began my journey in the heart of Belgium and later ventured to Denmark for three transformative years. These experiences opened my eyes to the world of intimate connections, energetic resonance, and self-discovery. My path was punctuated with moments of self-realization and understanding as I navigated the complexities of personal relationships and explored the realms of Tantra. I've discovered that I'm here to inspire people to live the life they truly desire.

Learning from my own relationship experiences and shedding unconscious patterns that no longer served me, I found my calling. I have a Core Certification in VITA™ (The Vital and Integrated Tantric Approach) as a Love, Intimacy, and Relationship Coach and am currently specializing further in Couple Coaching, a major in Relationship Transformation within the VITA™ framework. I firmly believe that everyone can create their ultimate intimacy life through a deeper connection with their own body.

What People Are Saying

The Person Behind the Coach

As a person, I value openness, both in communication and energetically. Friends and family often say, "Anke has a will," describing me as determined and straightforward. I'm known for my goal-oriented approach, combining empathy and sincerity. I have an innate ability to see beyond words, understanding the deeper meanings and emotions that lie within.

My professional journey,
related to my coaching

  • Rooted in the profound beliefs that sexuality is sacred, love is a potent force, and meaningful relationships are essential for a joyful existence, I've delved into the transformative realm of VITA™ Coaching. This approach marries modern science with ancient wisdom, embracing holistic tools like breathwork, pleasure practices, and trauma healing to awaken and heal sexuality.

Elevating my expertise, I'm pursuing a Major in Relationship Transformation. Relationships hold untapped potential, becoming a fertile ground for spiritual evolution, personal growth, and healing. By specializing in this field, I aim to address the scarcity of quality support for couples. Countless partnerships suffer while missing out on the tools needed for mutual thriving.

Almost universally, we yearn for enduring love and satisfying intimacy. The deepest desires for authentic connections and lasting sexual fulfillment often clash with fears and obstacles. Through this specialized major, I'm equipping myself to guide couples through childhood healing, trauma integration, and nurturing profound intimacy.

  • As an assistant, I was thrilled to be a part of the Tantric Shibari Retreat: The Art of Trust and Surrender. This transformative 4-night retreat invited participants to explore surrender, energy work, and deep trust in life through the ancient art of Tantra and rope magic.

Led by experienced facilitators Marco and Ymke, the retreat provided a sacred space for participants to immerse themselves in practices that deepened their connection with themselves and others. From healing past wounds to expanding sensory experiences, the retreat offered a safe and supportive environment for personal and collective transformation.

Participants became part of an inclusive community that valued diversity and welcomed individuals and couples of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It was more than just a retreat; it was a heartfelt container for embracing the art of trust and surrender, nurturing profound bonds, and experiencing life-changing connections.

  • This is a 1-year program (650 hours) at Layla Martin’s VITA™ Institute.

The core values of VITA™ Coaching are based on the belief that sexuality is sacred, beautiful, powerful and natural; pure love is the primary force that sustains us, and meaningful relationships are necessary for a joyful life. The VITA™ Method is a transformational process to heal and awaken sexuality. Supported by modern science and empowered by ancient wisdom, we use holistic tools such as breathwork, pleasure practices, trauma healing, meditation, energy work, sounds and movement that can solve even the deepest problems.

The VITA™ Method takes the most effective teachings of modern neurobiology, holistic healing and modern coaching, and blends it with ancient wisdom and teaching. VITA™ stands for “The Vital and Integrated Tantric Approach.”

  • The deep surrender was a weekend long energetic tantric rope experience. Embodying the sacred connection with your true self.

In this retreat we dived into different ways of connecting and deepening the union and polarity between you and your rope partner.

The tantric practices in this retreat were inspired by the teachers (Marco Jellema and Ymke Linde van Gurp) and experiences in classical and kundalini Tantra and will be based around opening up your energy field heart and root chakra. Opening these areas deepens the experience of meeting someone in your own energy field and not hold a part of you hidden even if you are scared of showing yourself your feelings and emotions.

  • Through Juli Pohan.

In Juli's words: "Working with a sarong is a gentle, nurturing and calming technique." From stretching the body to shaking it, 'bio-hacking' the nervous system and bringing the body to life, and also, above all, surrender and relaxation. For me it really stands for getting into your body and out of your head. A very interesting training! Can't wait to use this in my bodywork too.

  • In this one-day workshop, I learned a set of postures that Dinah Rodrigues has developed under the name of hormone yoga. It stimulates the hormone glands, restoring the hormone balance in your body and keeping your hormone production up. I also learned about the essential role of hormones, how they work together, how nutrition can contribute to a healthy hormone balance, and so on.

  • Through Compass to Connection and House of Healing.

Zen, expression, sensuality, integrity, silence, movement, closeness, setting boundaries and expressing desire were central to this retreat. My intention that week was to let go of physical and/or emotional baggage in order to connect more deeply with myself, the universe and others. Various excercises and coachings were offered such as the Wheel of Consent, emotional bodywork, active meditation and various other therapeutic forms of work.

  • The year 2021 was all about self-development for me. From February till October, I started an individual trajectory at Compass to Connection. As a coach and bodyworker, it is important for me to keep moving and growing myself, for example by working with my own trauma and pain pieces. I believe that only when I go through this, I will be able to help other people in their process to a deeper level.

I have also participated in a Cocao Temple Ceremony and have been a part of a Naked Woman Circle. Both were about opening the senses. The former on sensual pleasure, and the latter towards self-love and acceptance.

All this contributes to my professional experience.

  • Through the Emma.health academy, I received an extensive training programme about their DNA results and how I can use them in a targeted way in my coaching sessions. A DNA-analyses is recommended if you like to discover the strenghts and possible needs of your body and its growth.

Update Mar/'22: Meanwhile Emma.health no longer exist and I am no longer a partner. I would like to refer you to the current website of Leadlife.

  • An international training course on gender-based violence in cooperation with 14 countries. The learning objective was to increase knowledge on gender-based violence, improve competences in working with young people, promote awareness of non-formal education on gender-based violence, and exchange good practices among youth workers.

  • This was a part of one of my Bachelor internships. During this internship, I worked on a custom project. This ran from mid April to mid July 2017.

On the basis of a survey, an accessible project was developed in which health and team spirit are central. The idea was to complete the 'challenge of the week' together with colleagues every week. The idea was to stop and think about daily habits and possibly change them to a healthier alternative. These were low-threshold tasks that could be performed throughout the day. The aim: to combat sedentary behaviour and physical complaints.

  • Healthies go to schools in their own region to give training on sexuality. Depending on the region, there is also the possibility of giving other training packages.

  • The focus here was on health promotion in different phases of life: from early childhood to healthy ageing.
